Celtus

The latest Celtus news is that Moonchild has been re-released. More details on the album page.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall is a small venue, but has a rather strange atmosphere. I've been to concerts there where the artist sang the last song and said goodnight, the house lights came up and everybody just filed out quietly. Very odd. It wasn't like that with Celtus - the atmosphere was warm and friendly and the almost capacity audience really enjoyed the evening and joined in with all of the songs.

The music was a little different from the highly polished albums, the live performance brings in an extra dimension and I think I will enjoy listening to the studio albums even more now.

Afterwards the band came out to the foyer to meet the fans. I have to say it was a very great pleasure to meet Pat, John, Dan and Lindy, I think they must be the nicest people in the business.

It was also an opportunity to get my hands on a copy of Rooted.

Unfortunately that was the last time I saw Celtus before they split up. Pat continues to play with the Painkillers, and John is writing TV and film soundtrack music - there's a message from him on the official site
